Guidelines For Authors |
1. INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHOR Vivechan International journal of Research, ISSN-0976-8211 is an interdisciplinary and refereed journal, which covers the scientific research in a broader sense and facilitates researchers all around the world from all engineering disciplines, all scientific disciplines and management research to publish their scholarly applied and/or fundamental research works. The major emphasis is laid on inter-disciplinary nature of the work. The main criteria for acceptance of the articles are novelty, clarity, and significance as relevant to a better understanding. All the articles published in IJR are peer-reviewed by eminent international experts in their respective fields. After review process, the Editor-in-Chief will inform the authors of the acceptance, rejection or necessity of revision of the manuscript. Manuscripts are accepted for review only when they report unpublished work that is not being considered for publication elsewhere. 2. FORMAT OF MANUSCRIPTS Papers beyond the scope or that do not follow the format of the Journal will be returned to the authors without being reviewed. Preparing Manuscripts Text Font: Times New Roman Font Size: 10 Line spacing: 1.5 Single Columns Manuscript should be written in clear, concise and grammatically correct English. Then list the full title of the paper; the names of all authors; and name and address of the institution(s) or organization(s) where the work was done. When authors are affiliated with more than one department or unit within an institution or with more than one institution, superscript numbers are used to indicate each author’s address. An asterisk (*) must be placed after the name of the author to whom correspondence about the paper and proofs are to be sent. The telephone, fax, and E-mail numbers should be mentioned for correspondence. No manuscript text appears on the title page. Abstract: An abstract of no more than 400 words, must be placed on the second page of the paper to summarize the principal points of the study. The abstract should not contain references, figures, or tables. Key Words: Four to six key words should be mentioned below Abstract. Headings: Capitalize each word and bold. Sub-headings should be in Sentance case and italics. Figures: All illustrations, whether diagrams or photographs, are referred to as Figures. They should be black and white, not colour, and numbered sequentially. All figures should be supplied with legend. Tables: Number in order of mention in the text and Table should be in text form not shown as an image. Equations: All mathematical equations should be clearly printed/typed using well accepted explanation. Superscripts and subscripts should be typed clearly above or below the base line. Equation numbers should be given in Arabic numerals enclosed in parentheses on the right-hand margin. They should be cited in the text as, for example, Eq. (1), or Eqs. (1)-(3). Units: Follow internationally accepted rules and conventions: use the international system of units (SI). If other units are mentioned, please give their equivalent in SI. References References in the text should be in full if they have one or two authors (e.g.: Fang, 2002; Budeker and Kronenberg, 2002); in the case of multiple authors they should be cited as Yeun et al., 2007.
